Paperboat x Insidemicloset

I am a little late at this but the holiday season has been crazy with all the workload & vacations. I hope you all had a great new year!!

My new year started with a stroll down the memory lane to my childhood when I received these drinks from Paperboat. What's Paperboat? They describe it beautifully on their website in these lines :

Your first craft lesson. Your first rain when you were allowed to go out. Your first sense of accomplishment.
Your first sense of loss as it drowned. Your first life lesson about staying afloat in harsh circumstances. Your first science lesson about buoyancy.
A paper boat implies a lot of firsts.
But it also signifies a different world. With different priorities..
It tells us that no matter who you are, where you lived or what you’ve done in your life, you remember how to make a paper boat right?

So the real question is:

“Why not paper boat?”

You know what they say about the childhood that it is the best time of your entire life when you aren't stressed, worried or chasing your career goals. With each drink from Paperboat I just relived those childhood moments over and over again and was all nostalgic.

Little bit about the flavors I received & their magical benefits certainly makes Paperboat drinks a must-have!

Anar - Rs 30 for 250ml

It’s so good at beating aging. Packed with polyphenols, Anar has such commendable antioxidant properties that it probably lectured green tea on the matter. And speaking of beating – Anar is good for the heart, its fiber is kind to the weighing scale, and its abundant Vitamin C is great for immunity.

Kokum - Rs 30 for 250ml

Kokum, sourced specifically from Sindhudurg in Maharashtra, helps in lowering cholesterol, cleanses the digestive tract, is an amazing appetizer and possibly, a good friend and confidant in the years to come. Xanthone and Garcinol, which sound like fictitious villains from pulp literature, are very real heroes found in the literature of our pulp. Together, they have potent anti-oxidant, anti-glaucoma, anti-ulcer, anti-fever, anti-vertigo (Kokum does indeed up the ante with its ‘antis’), anti-allergic, anti-bacterial and anti- inflammatory properties

Jamun Kala Khatta - Rs 30 for 250ml

Jamun Kala Khatta weaves in several nutritional quadrants quite seamlessly. A great source of essential minerals like calcium, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus and sodium, Jamun is the heavy hitter here with anti-diabetic, pro-digestive and skin-clearing properties. A source of iron and Vitamin C, Jamun helps cure anaemia and kill fatigue. Also, Jamun juice is said to improve eyesight and remove hoarseness of voice.

Aam panna - Rs 30 for 250ml

The Aampanna cares. It cares if you’ve eaten well. It cares if you’ve not. And if you haven’t,then it takes care of you. With its numerous digestive properties, it’s a valiant fighter of terrible gastrointestinal disorders like diarrhoea, dyspepsia and dysentery. Not only that, due to its incredible Vitamin C content (more so than ripened mangoes), it’s a powerful antioxidant and dreaded foe of scurvy

Aamras - Rs 30 for 250ml

It helps prevent heart disease – The Beta-Carotene, Selenium, Potassium and Vitamin-E in the mangoes pretty much ensure that. Being rich in iron and copper, it also helps produce blood corpuscles. In addition to all this, it builds your immune system, aids in digestion, controls blood pressure, prevents anemia, relaxes muscle tissues and occasionally, reminds you of summer vacations

Jaljeera - Rs 30 for 250ml

Jeera, one of its key ingredients, is a regular fixture in Ayurveda. Cumin alone is a natural anti-oxidant and cleanses your vocal chords. The black pepper and rock salt help you cool down and digest food better. The ginger in it clears congestion and combats nausea. It also acts as a muscle relaxant as a random philanthropic bonus. And as all this happens, the lemon juice in the drink with its innate Vitamin C fights exhaustion, detoxes and even helps in weight loss.

This is not it, Paperboat is not only making healthy & refreshing changes in everybody's life they are also making noticeable changes in lives of under privileged kids. They have  teamed up with Parivaar, a West Bengal-based humanitarian service organization that works for the holistic development of children who haven't had a fair start. Be it orphans, girl-children vulnerable to exploitation, or impoverished children from tribal areas; Parivaar works to give children the chance to be children.

So go ahead get your paperboat drink now and #floataboat, Make a paper boat and relive adventure, mischief, discovery and daydreams -- because now, for every boat, they are giving Rs. 20 towards children's education.

Paperboat has become my all time favorite and for all that humanitarian work I wish them luck & success.
