Kanabis x Insidemicloset

"Everytime I see a pair of shoes, I think of travelling."  - Insidemicloset

My fascination with shoes doesn't seem to end. If I have to pick a must-have in my closet that will be the shoes. From a favorite pair of heels to favorite pair of flatforms, one can never get enough. My recent favorites are Espadrilles simply because of their comfort and variety. One can style one pair of espadrilles with so many outfits.

On a Saturday noon, when you just want to relax because it's weekend & no work pressure, I wanted to explore the city a bit as I haven't had the time to travel lately. Since I wanted to do it in the most relaxed way, I throw a white tshirt and black jeans with my favorite pair of red espadrilles to add that richness to my outfit (not so outfit).

There is nothing more comfortable than these pairs by Kanabis and USP about them they are animal-friendly. Cushion insole supporting my feet comfortably for those long walks and cycling, covered with lace to let my feet breathe. Not to mention, they are so light-weight and don't slip at all so one can don them on a trip to hill stations or even a beach!

Outfit tips (highly recommended) :
1. A tee & pair of jeans
2. A casual floral short dress
3. A crop top & pair of culottes
4. One shoulder top & pair of hot shorts
& many more!

Style them as per your comfort and liking and see them matching almost every outfit of yours. You can shop them here.

Until next time lovelies, stay gorgeous!

99Hunts x Insidemicloset

This is that time of year when festivities begin and the excitement turns into two! Comes along the choices and decisions of outfits. The choice of outfits and decision of looking just fashionably right for every occasion.

You know how there are all the diwali card parties going all night long, then christmas get togethers and pre-new year's and post-new year's parties and you can't have just one outfit for all these. Actually, you can! Okay, not one outfit but you can always REPEAT ( it's okay to repeat something from your wardrobe) and that's the center of my story this time. REPEAT.

So, for my first look, which is more of winter inspired look, I paired the top with a pair of warm jeggings and high boots. I kept it open from front to enhance the peach-orangy tank and add color to the outfit. Keeping my hair open and working the outfit with hint of tangerine lipshade and thick lined eyeliner. This will go perfectly for those who have little streak of tomboy in them and also for those who love experimenting with their looks in winters.

For my second look, which is more suitable for get togethers & card parties during festive season, I paired the same with red long tulip skirt, cocoa shade clutch from mom's closet and pair of black floral wedges which has very elegant anklet attached to it adding the accessories feature to my outfit. Keeping the makeup and hair same, I completed this modern yet traditional look for my upcoming get together.

Like I said, it's okay to REPEAT. So go on, search in your closet and see what all is there to repeat like I did or you can shop the star of my outfits here.

Monochrome-atic

Let's start with a little Q&A, shall we? How do you know what's trending? or  How do you decide about what to pick when you go out for shopping? or What do you think is 'in-fashion'? Honestly, you don't!

For an average-middle class-on a payroll girl like me, you don't get to keep a tab on what's trending, what's hot or what style or color is going to be in these days. We just get to know when we just surf through our social media feeds or go out in the mall or market (flea markets! everyone has been there) that this is what people are wearing these days and that's the moment where you decide to pick up the same. But when you think you can don the same style as worn by so and so celebrity, your bank account statement starts dancing in front of you, teasing you in all the possible ways.

Coming back to the topic, I was thinking to style a monochrome dress from quite sometime now but couldn't really find one in my budget. Went through lot of online shopping website to look for that one particular dress but hard luck. One day, I was visiting a friend of mine and while waiting for her I strolled into the mall to try my luck again. To my surprise, I found it in Vero Moda outlet, the same exact dress that I have been wanting from so many days. The thing about Vero Moda is that they have everything to offer in terms of range, fabric and pricing and whatever you pick from Vero Moda kinda suits you.

This striking monochrome houndstooth dress has amazing fit and fits just at the right places.

Now, pairing it with black heels would have been like just another trend, I paired it with deep red peeptoes to add a dash of color. For makeup and hair I like to keep it simple as the makeup shouldn't overpower your main outfit. Let my hair loose and applied basic makeup such as eyeliner to highlight the eyes and dab of lipcolor to complete the look.

For such dress, I'd rather not write Pros & Cons because they would just create a biased image in your mind and you won't be able to try out your gut feeling.

Moral of the story? Pick what you think is made for you. It has to be pocket-friendly ofcourse but just don't pick something simply because everyone else is wearing 'the trend' (even it means burning another hole in your pocket)

Way too morals for this time, until next time lovelies, stay gorgeous.

An affair with luxury

I know this is so long overdue. I still have a ton of content from past few days to share so this will be where I start.  As much as I enjoy capturing the feel of owning a luxury, the brands and a little pride at having a luxurious item with me, I shudder at the thought of going through all the hassle of collecting it. I have always been a sucker for International brands but ordering them online from parent website has always been a headache as apart from MRPs there are all sort of taxes & shipping charges included. Moreover, the hassle of going to airport in case something is held at customs (screams!). So, my only hope was Google to find out an online place where I can fulfill this little luxury-wanted girl in me. Going through pages, I stumbled upon this website with a very unique yet catchy portal name 'Luxeaffaires'.

As unique as their name, their listing of products is unique as well. They offer registration to maintain the secrecy of the products and to make sure only genuine customers are registered. Once you register, they notify you via mail what all brands are going live for the sale and upto how much percentage. Starting from Hugo Boss range to Guess range, they offer all the brands for you to grab.

At first, I was little skeptical about ordering, but since it was my first time purchase, I picked up a Guess bracelet (which I always wanted to own). It took me few mins to place an order and voila! it was confirmed.

I believe in 'less is more'. So, I am gonna say very little about them and leave it upto you to experience this amazing opportunity to grab luxury now!

Shop their wide range of brands here and stay updated on upcoming sales.

Luxeaffaires will always be my favorite. Cheers to Luxeaffaires for being my all-time, go-to brand to own the most sorted brands in India.

Just a glimpse of luxury on sale ;)

Check out the offers below :

Hope you all are enjoying the first bits of fall.

Until next time lovelies, stay glamorous.

Go deep, go bold

It's weekend and I am wondering ( I wonder alot!) that what am I going to do? Go to a party that I have been invited to or hangout with bunch of girls who talk nothing but how rude are their parents or how jealous they of bunch of other girls or simply just stay home and do what I feel like or maybe I could splurge a little. ;)

There's no harm in getting yourself a little gift once a month or twice or every weekend, went a little crazy there. Anyway, I decided to go out (alone) and hit the mall nearby. Without thinking once I stepped into the Colorbar outlet maybe because I knew what I had to buy myself this weekend.

Since, color Marsala is the talk of the town or the color of the year I thought why not give this deep & dark color a try. As the lady helped me discover the shade, I got my hands on this luscious, deep maroon Blush shade by Colorbar. I knew I have hit jackpot and couldn't wait to go home and try it on.

The packaging is okay but the end product is a dream. You might even look at it first but once you try it on you don't want to get it off. ;)

I paired the look with sea blue chiffon dress with sequins work on the neckline which adds a bling factor to the look. I kept the make up minimal to highlight the Colobar Blush lipcolor. Only kohl eyes and white kajal in the waterline with a hint of compact. Here I left my hair loose to add celeb-factor and not look like someone who has just got out of bed. Messy hair, btw, love them!

Here is my look taken from two different angles.

Pros : Pocket-friendly, true to its name color, non-dry, non-smudge, stays on for good 7 hours, goes with almost every outfit (day or night)

Cons : needs better packaging!

While I enjoy my new purchase, you can get yours at http://www.colorbarcosmetics.com/

Until next time lovelies, stay glamorous.
